The Network Associates licensing scheme is a volume licensing scheme designed to ease administration of multiple copies of software. The licences come in two initial forms; a perpetual license which last indefinitely as long as the customer buys support every year, and a 2 year licence. With the initial purchase the end user is assigned a grant number which allow the customer to renew or add users to their licensing agreement.

It is very easy to start purchasing under the Network Associates scheme. All you need is to purchase a minimum of 11 licences for each product.
